Well after posting the latest single of Pharoahe comes something at the complete opposite of the spectrum with the visuals for the newest Chris Brown single and bonified banger, Look At Me Now featuring Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne. I’m pretty sure that this song will be heard in the clubs on an almost annoying level in the upcoming months.

Pharoahe Monch unveiled the video for his latest single, Clap (One Day), in the form of a short film. I have to say that the release is pretty convenient considering the status of Lupe’s newest album, L.A.S.E.R.S. and conscious hip hop in general. I’m actually wondering if the title of Pharoahe’s upcoming release W.A.R. is a shot at it… Now I wouldn’t go as far as saying that Lupe’s music is the same as Pharoahe, but his music was always considered as entry level to conscious hip-hop in the mainstream medias and his songs were always carrying a message… up to now.

I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one saying What is this I don’t even… every single time Die Antwoord releases a new video. Granted their new video for Rich Bitch is not as weird as the one they released for Evil Boy, but it’s still a perfect exemple of why the South African band are setting themselves apart from the rest of the pack and why it’s working as odd as it can be.

British indie-rock outfit, Arctic Monkeys might be a long way from announcing anything too offical about their forthcoming fourth LP, but last Friday, they unveiled the first excerpt of it titled Brick By Brick via their website.
The song was produced recurent Arctic Monkeys collaborator, James Ford, but somehow ends up sounding quite different from what they’ve been releasing up to now. While it was said that the song would be on their fourth album, it was also stated to not be a single, but a teaser of what’s to come and even released a video for it nonetheless.

Mac Miller unveiled the visuals for his recent single, Donald Trump. The video is fairly generic, but the song definitely makes up for it. Then again, the video interpretation of the song fits the song as it’s pretty much about having fun which they definitely had while recording the video.
Speaking of Mac Miller, the guy is currently in town as we speak as he will be performing at Le Belmont tonight, it’s currently sold out, but I’m pretty sure there’s going to be scalpers if some of you are dying to go.

Directed by Hype Williams comes the reimagination of Christopher Nolan masterpiece Inception for Lil Wayne’s latest and Bangladesh produced single, 6 Foot 7 Foot, featuring Cory Gunz. Now while the video does channel Inception, it’s nothing as close as the real thing as it definitely look pretty budgety, but A+ for the effort ahah.

The Strokes comeback single, Under Cover of Darkness, was released around a month ago and promised that the official video for it would come on March 1st. The video was released a little bit late, but I’m posting it even later, so I guess that it’s better late than never.
Under Cover the Darkness is the first single of their highly awaited fourth studio album, Angles, which is set to be released on March 22nd.
