Here’s a new Trey Songz track that was just recently released from producer extraordinaire Salaam Remi’s vault. There is not much of informations to actually when this was recorded or if Trey has any plans to release it sometimes, but the quality of the production could easily means that it could come out as an official release at some point later.

You know, a couple of months ago I don’t think I would have been able to say that I was a fan of Trey Songz… but the quality of the material he’s been releasing as of late for his forthcoming album, Passion, Pain & Pleasure, has been on point (except maybe his cookie cutter lead single with Nicki Minaj) and really converted me into a fan. He delivers another quality song with The Unusual, which is another song that will be found on that said album and features no one else than his long time collaborator and friend Drake who’s career really took off since his association with him a couple of years back.
Passion, Pain & Pleasure is set to drop on September 14th.

So Trey Songz last song with Nicki Minaj, Bottoms Up, might have been more of a miss than a hit, but this new leak of his upcoming album, Passion, Pain & Pleasure is right on the money. Trey has been known to be a pretty good R&B artist and should definitely stick to what he knows as his collaboration with Nicki sounds a little bit cheap and out of character.
This new release on the other hand, is hitting closer to home as everyone probably had to deal with a situation like Can’t Be Friends, making the song more relatable and possibly human than his previous single.

Mmmm… the name Rebstar seems so familiar, but I can’t recall actually seeing it somewhere… From what I’ve heard, he collaborated with the like of Boi-1da, Trey Songz and Drake, so I better get with the program anyway. Dead or Alive is a smooth track produced by Boi-1da that was released last week and is pretty good… but there was something else attached to the email and it was the video for another song of his entitled Without You featuring Trey Songz, that was released back in late January, which I totally missed, and that song is dope!
While him and Cage shares nothing musically, I have to say that Rebstar’s flow on Without You sounds very familiar to Shia Leboeuf’s favorite rapper, but you know, that might just me. And to be honest, I’ve never been the biggest fan of Trey Songz, but he’s definitely doing his thing on this one.
Sweden’s Rebstar links up with Boi-1da, producer of Drake’s smash hit “Over”, for the 2010 burner “Dead or Alive.” We greatly appreciate all blog, website and DJ love on this record.
Be on the lookout for Rebstar all throughout 2010 as he delivers banger after banger including soon to be released collaborations with Rich Boy, Cookin’ Soul…and yes…Drizzy himself.

This Lupe song was first heard as a bonus track that came out with the release of Lupe’s last album, The Cool, in Japan. The song was slightly different though, as this track is an alternative take of it by having Trey Songz hop on the chorus … and that’s pretty much it.

Not sure if it’s supposed to be a Trey Songz or a Drake track anymore … pretty sure Drake gave Trey’s the right to call him his song since Drake’s pretty much all set by now though …

You’ve probably heard of Drake’s recent injury, where he slipped and fell and messed up his already messed up knee. Well apparently he already had surgery on his leg and was back for a one-night deal, rocking the stool, at his hometown of Toronto. Love him or hate him, you have to give him credits for that.

While Drake’s upcoming release So Far Gone is right around the corner, here’s a new song that’s going to be on it. I’m also throwing his song with Lil Wayne, his Swagga Like Us freestyle and his remix of Say You Will of Kanye for those who didn’t know that kid in a wheelchair from Degrassi : Next Generation was throwing it down.
