For his debut album, Travis Barker reached out to a wide range of artists. Mostly from the hip-hop scene, but one of the collaboration definitely stands out from the lot being the one with Dim Mak founder, Steve Aoki who’s definitely more using his Rifoki persona than his electro/house one for Misfits, which will only be available to people getting the Deluxe Edition of the album… or for those visiting this blog I guess ahah.

Now that Travis Barker’s mixtape, Let The Drummer Get Wicked was finally released a couple of weeks back, the focus can now be shifted to his upcoming solo debut album, Give the Drummer Some. In anticipation to the big release, two tracks made their way to the internet, one being a collaboration between Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell on If You Want To while the other, Cool Head, links the Blink 182 drummer to G.O.O.D. Music protégé KiD CuDi.
The album, Give the Drummer Some, drops on March 15th.

Here’s another song off Travis Barker and DJ Whoo Kid’s upcoming Let The Drummer Get Wicked tape. The previous leak featuring Big Sean sounded kind of weird on the mastering side, but this one is definitely on point. Tony Yayo does his thing and Cookin’ Soul produced a soulful beat which ends up being much better than what Travis Barker released yesterday with his H.A.M. remix…
Let The Drummer Get Wicked to drop on February 21st and Travis’ debut album should find its way to our ears on March 15th.

Here’s the collaboration that Big Sean provided to to DJ Whoo Kid’s latest mixtape, Let The Drumma Get Wicked Volume 1. The song was produced by The Monsters with the help of Travis Barker on the drum, but there is something fishy in the mastering of the song, seems like the vocals are not loud enough, like he is whispering through the song or something, I don’t know… just feels a bit out of place considering the heavy drums and all.

Travis Barker unveiled the visualization of his second single, Carry It, from his upcoming solo album, Give The Drummer Some and as expected a wide range of artists are set to appear on the album as guest features. He previously released his song with The Cool Kids, Jump Down, and now his latest one features Tom Morello, RZA and Raekwon.

Man, I’ll go ahead and admit that I am a major sucker for the remixes that Travis Barker throws out, I even (almost) liked the version he did of that Soulja Boi super track, Superman. This time he goes on Drake’s latest track off the Lebron James documentary, More Than A Game. The song was already dope, but this is taking it to a whole new level. Travis goes hard on them drums damn.

Here’s Jamie Foxx performance of Blame It at the BET Award this Sunday with a brief cameo of Snoop Dogg alongside T-Pain & Travis Barker who’s rocking it out at the end of the track. Travis is making the song going extra hard like he does with all the tracks he ‘rock remixes’, he needs to release his version of Blame It and soon. Not gonna lie, I love this track.
