Here’s the latest video of She & Him with alot of Zooey and a little of M. Ward. Not much to say, it has Zooey Deschanel doing her best impression of what it would look like if she was in High School Musical… fairly Zooey Deschanel-ish and a little bit generic, but since it involves Zooey Deschanel I will probably end up watching it 100 times… because yeah, that’s what I do nostalker.

Monsters of Folk is the indie supergroup counterpart of what Slaughterhouse is right now to hip-hop. Composed of Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes, Jim James of My Morning Jacket and M. Ward who is more known for his solo career, but yeah, that’s the bloke who’s singing with Zooey Deschanel (She & Him). They released their first single Say Please, free to download, on their website on friday. Their self-titled debut album is set to release on September 22.

I could go on and on and on about how She & Him are actually M. Ward & Zooey Deschanel and that they just took part in that Sweethearts 09 Valentine’s Day compilation where Zooey drops an amazing cover of Screamin’ Jay I Put A Spell on You. BUT, I’ll just say that I actually have a major crush on Zooey Deschanel and that she’s gorgeous.
