RetroSuperFuture was seen and heard on Rick Ross’ last mixtape, Ashes to Ashes, but gets to see some action again as Rick Ross enlisted the help of his newest Maybach Music Group signee, Wale, for a remix of the song which adds him to the initial Wiz Khalifa feature. Rick Ross is currently gearing up and probably still working on his upcoming album, Self Made and this song will probably not appear on his next album, but it’s still something while we wait for it to drops.
Self Made is due May 24.

Here comes a brand new release of Ricky Raws produced by The Inkredibles. The song is a little short, but the beat goes HARD as a mo’fucker. I hope this is just a demo version of a lengthier one off an upcoming Rick Ross project.

Directed by Motion Family, T.I. and his team released the official video for his newest single, I Pledge Allegiance, featuring Rick Ross. The song is featured on his recently released album, No Mercy, and to be honest, I’m glad they changed the name of the song as the initial title of it, I Pledge Allegiance To The Swag which sounded just irky.
T.I. newest album, No Mercy, can be found in stores now.

To be honest, after watching the video of Rick Ross newest release, Veteran’s Day, I can’t say that I care much for the visual counterpart of the song, but I have to say that this J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League produced song should have definitely been included in Ross latest album, Teflon Don.

It’s 2010 and Diddy is still dancing around in videos, making a fool of himself. You gotta respect that, he’s somehow outlived so many people in the industry just by having a scent for money and a need to show his face in important hip-hop videos. That’s right, Rick Ross is important (and so is Gucci). The guy has had a lot against him (from the whole him being an officer thing, the 50 Cent beef, to the real/fake sex tape scandals) and he still manages to come out on top with a bunch of songs that will probably be considered classic hip-hop in a few years. Maybe he spends more on ghost writers than his jewelry, but who knows. If Gucci’s spending that kind of money on ghost writers though, that’s a lot of cash going down the toilet. At least for his verse on this one.

If you guys didn’t know already, Rozay has a little something something for other things than big ass chains of himself wearing another chain of himself and they are cars. After being the flagship for the Maybach, he switches it up to the one and only James Bond car, the Aston Martin. Now I’m not sure if it’s an upgrade or not, but it is what it is and getting the help of Drake & Chrisette Michele for it, prolonging his streak of good releases by one.
He just unveiled the visuals for the song of his recent album, Teflon Don, and enlisted the help of Gil Green to direct the video and as expected shows Rick Ross doing stuff with Aston Martins…

Akon and his na-na-na’s are currently gearing up to the release of his forthcoming album, Akonic. The album was stated to drop only in 2011, but according to retail stores, the album should be arriving on their shelves on November 29th. Anyway, here’s the untagged version of his latest song, Give It To ‘Em featuring Rozay himself.

Alright, so I didn’t hear about this collaboration until now, but the thing doesn’t come off odd or anything as they both run in the same circles quite often. To my knowledge, this is also the first excerpt we can actually hear of that said collaboration. And as much as I am not the biggest fan of Diddy’s music, I gotta say that the beat goes hard, thanks to Lil Lody.

Alright, so not only did T.I. released a brand new track featuring Rick Ross and produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League while we wait for his forthcoming album King Uncaged, but there has been reports that T.I. and his wife Tiny were arrested last night for possession of illegal substances. I’m not going to go in too much into that, but man, he was just in prison like months ago, how could he not be on the look out for these kinds of things? I mean really…
I hope nothing too serious comes out of this little run-in with the law as the name of his album could take a whole different meaning.

Kanye announced a week ago or so over twitter that he was going to release new music every Friday until his album drops, calling them fridays, G.O.O.D. Music Fridays. Well today was the first Friday since that said promise and Kanye delivered the goods as one might say, releasing the first peek of his freshly announced upcoming collaborative mini-album with Hov said to be entitled Watch The Throne.
Monster features Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, which is pretty usual as they are bound to land on a Kanye West track at one point, but most surprisingly this song features esteemed indie rocker, Bon Iver, which already stated a couple of weeks back that he had recorded a couple of tracks with Kanye West, so I guess that Monster is one of them. I was really eager to hear what a collaboration between Bon Iver & Kanye West sounded like when it was first announced, and I have to say that I am not disappointed… not one bit. I hope that Kanye stays true to his words and bring us new music every Friday, because if it’s anything like today, we are in for a threat ladies and gentlemen.
