Directed by Isaac Ravishankara comes the official video for Phantogram newest single, When I’m Small. Good video, good song, good band, what else can you ask? The song is also off Phantogram debut album, Eyelid Movies which is currently out via Barsuk Records and can probably be found in music stores or at least on iTunes.

Phantogram finally dropped the official video for their song, Mouthful of Diamonds, and I gotta say that I’m not really sure of the outcome of it… I personally think that the song would have fit a more atmospheric and darker video, a little bit in the same way of ideas Natasha Khan went for the video of Daniel as it seems the director wanted to head that way, but only achieved half of it. I actually find the first footage I saw of them performing Mouthful of Diamonds in a live session more compeling than the official video itself… but maybe that’s just it.

I stumbled upon this video randomly, and being a band that I had never heard before, I just decided to play it and went ahead with my usual business while the music was playing in the background, and I have to admit that as soon as the music kicked in, I dropped my usual business and checked out the video in it’s fullest even if it was a live studio performance.

I can count on my fingers how many times I actually did that and that just goes out to show how good the the song is ahah (talk about modesty right?)
