Here’s a brand new song of Mister Nasir Jones that we’ve seen alot more with his buddy, Damien Marley than by himself as of late, but I guess that the monthly money he owes to his now ex-wife Kelis won’t grow on tree by itself, but it definitely could if he keeps dropping songs like this one.
When we first heard about a possible Nas song on the Produced by Boola music series we thought that it was just a rumor. Its very rare for music producers/ artists to work with living legends especially with the caliber of Nasir Jones. Well, you can add Boola’s name to that list as he presents us with his latest masterpiece from the BB music series titled “Snitch Alibi”. This unreleased track from Nas was archived but Boola stuck with the motif as Nas would and granted the fans their requests for more classic Nas material.”THIS ONE IS FOR THE FANS” Boola shouts while playing the track in the studio for his team. Boola is starting to amass a cache of noteworthy features as well as beginning to draw comparisons to the likes of Kanye west, Swizz beats, Dr. Dre and Timbaland with the way that he gives his songs a cinematic feel. Boola is transitioning from just making beats to making music and from the looks of it he is about to make history!

Alright, so when I first saw this dropped and who was collaborating together, I was very curious to hear how everything would sound… and not to take anything away of Carlos Santana and Nas, but this just sounds like poor man version of Aerosmith’s / Run DMC Walk This Way. The song still packs a decent punch, I mean, Carlos Santana is a hell of a guitarist and Nas… well Nas is the one and only Nas, but yeah… there’s something about it that just irks me a little bit.
This song also spearhead the whole marketing machine for Santana’s upcoming album, Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time. Set to drop on September 21st.

A version of this song was released and seen around the block a little while ago without Nas, but this is version that will be made into the lead single of her upcoming album All Of Me, which seems to be not only the right choice, music-wise, but marketing-wise. I mean, even if Nas might have lost vs. Hov, he’s still drawing crowds.
So far, All Of Me is set to drop this September.

Here’s two more joints of Nas & Damian Marley upcoming collaborative album, Distant Relatives. You probably heard it all before, so I won’t repeat myself, but yeah, everything coming out of Distant Relatives sounds more and more fantastic shaping the project to be a classic. Support the LP on May 18th.

Yesterday we had the pleasure to witness the release of the visuals for Nas & Damian Marley official first single, As We Enter, which will be featured on their upcoming debut album, Distant Relatives. And today, well, another leak made it’s way to the internet in the form of a song named Africa Must Wake Up featuring none other than Canadian artist K’Naan. This collaborative project looks doper by the minutes. Distant Relatives is due to release on May 18th.

A little sneak peek was released last week, but the real deal came out earlier today. So here’s the first official video for the lead single, As We Enter, of the most anticipated collaborative projects in hip-hop as of late being of Nas & Damian Marley. I personally prefer Strong Will Continue waaaay more than this track, but I’ll take whatever comes from these two. Their album, Distant Relatives, is set to drop on May 18th.

Here’s another track off Nas & Damian Marley highly awaited project, Distant Relatives. The Promised Land fully embraces the reggae roots and laid back rhythm of Marley… things that were put in back gears in the previous leaks.
Distant Relatives is shaping up to be one hell of an album… it is set to be released on May 18th. Mark your calendars.

Wow, well this is just dope, damn. I could have not predict the collaboration itself, but it is a perfect match and everything I’d actually want to hear. Nas links up with one of his dad’s friend Gil Scott Heron and drops a couple of verses on his New York Is Killing Me song that is featured on his latest album, I’m New Here, that was released last February.

While the initial DJ Khaled yelling and rambling at the beginning of the song is definitely there, the beat of the song is, on the other hand, fairly different from the other typical Khaled songs. I think that having John Legend on the song is possibly what balance the whole things out as he brings a more R&B vibe to the song, piano and all.
