You know, as much as I’m not into those vampires loving movies, I gotta say that their soundtracks were always on point… actually I don’t remember what was on the first one, but for the second movie, the soundtrack had a phenomenal bill. The third movie doesn’t seem to stray too far from that path as the artists on it’s soundtrack is as impressive.
British band, Muse, is taking part of this project and coming out with an exclusive track entitled Neutron Star Collision that reminds of their previous work Origin of Symmetry, which is in my mind, the real and honest Muse. Not that their latest effort is not Muse, but while it definitely holds interesting material, it’s really their second album that capture their essence to the fullest.
Joining Muse, artists like Metric, The Black Keys, Band of Horses, Bat For Lashes, Florence + The Machine and many more… they all will be appearing on the soundtrack, all with exclusive material. So expect a couple of more drops prior to the official release of the movie and soundtrack.

I have to say that most of the time I hear about B-Side and unreleased tracks, while I’m always happy to hear new material, they were B-Side and unreleased for a reason in the first place. From time to time though, pleasant surprise occurs which is the case for this Muse B-Side, but it isn’t much of a surprise when you come to think of it since most of the unreleased and b-side of Muse are all great, so it’s more of a crying shame .___. than anything else that none of them appears on any album.
