I’m not sure what it is with people putting some odd looking creatures in their videoclip, first with the Yeasayer’s video for Madder Red featuring Kristen Bell and a reaaally odd looking thing, and now MGMT with a dodo looking ass creature being all weird in the desert for the visuals of their latest single, Congratulations. Granted it is not looking as fucked up as the one in the Yeasayer video, but yeah, still fucked up.

Even if MGMT’s latest effort was a major disappointement, they are not ones to call it quit as they just unveiled the official video for their latest single, It’s Working… While I’m not so sure about if it’s working or not, but I do know that their next album better be.

Even if their last album, Congratulations, was a major disappointment for most of us, it didn’t stop MGMT to perform a full fledge concert at the Ed Sullivan Theatre after recording a performance for the David Letterman Late Night earlier that day.

By the way, if you are unable to watch the video, well it seems that only United States residents can watch the video so far… I don’t know if it will be ever released internationally, but for now, that’s all we’ve got. I can’t even watch the video myself, being from Canada sooooo yeah, it’s all about the readers right? ahah.

Here’s the official videoclip for MGMT newest single Flash Delirium off their sophomore album Congratulations. An album that the early reviews seems to bashing going as far as saying the worst album and/or biggest disappointment of 2010… and for having listened to it, my opinion does not stray far from the rest.

Here we go, here’s the first two leaks of MGMT upcoming album, Congratulations including the title track of the album. I think Congratulations was leaked a little while ago, but I never got around to post it, while Flash Delirium is not only spanking new, but really showcase the talent of MGMT in all it’s grandeur by mixing stuff together that wouldn’t necessarily work together at first sight, or at least on paper and succeding at doing so. The song is also a little bit more heavy than the usual MGMT, but it definitely fits the title perfectly.

Their sophomore album, Congratulations is set to drop on April 13th.

T: Here’s the alternate video for this track off of Man on The Moon. The visuals are just amazing and a very unique concept to the video.

M: I have to say that while I rather liked the first iteration, this alternate take of Pursuit of Happiness easily take the cake. More creative and a little bit less We Were Once A Storytale.

Here’s the spanking new video for KiD Cudi’s latest single, Pursuit of Happiness that was on his heavily successful debut album, Man On The Moon: End Of Day. The video features a small cameo of Drake and his oscillating hand gestures. I also cannot help, but notice a heavy ressemblance to Kanye’s x Spike Jonze collaboration short film, We Were Once A Fairytale.

The video was directed by Brody Baker, who is now known to have worked on Animal Collective’s single, My Girls, off their latest album Merriweather Post Pavillion and produced by Josh Hartnett, who he met while working on the upcoming HBO series, How To Make It In America.

CuDi’s album, Man On The Moon: The End of Day has been leaked over the course of the weekend and apart from one or two songs, I think the album is definitely amazing. You should cope it as soon as it comes out on September 15th, no question ask.

So while you wait for the release (or grab the leak), here’s the third single off the album. Following the footsteps of Day N’ Nite and Make Her Say, comes Pursuit of Happiness featuring the interesting combo of MGMT and RATATAT. Which will also be the only track I will be posting of his upcoming album, even though Heart of a Lion, CuDi’s Zone, Up Up & Away, and many more are on heavy rotation on my iPhone at the moment, actually, now that I think about it, the whole album is lol.

Weezer started to perform this mashup back in May, and the crowd probably responded pretty well since they just released this high-quality video for the song. While the Kids part of the song is really flawless, the Poker Face side is sort of odd. Which is also odd, is the fact that Weezer didn’t do a song as popular as the two they are covering in ages.

Better late than never I’d say, MGMT finally released the video for their hit single Kids circa 2008. And the baby in the video will be messed up for the rest of his life lol.
