Directed by Casey McGrath and Max Goldman comes the official video of Pyro, the latest single of the Tennessee band Kings of Leon. The video is pretty odd, involving black holes and other shenanigans while the song is taken from their recent album, Come Around Sundown, and to be honest, the album might have gone a little bit more under the radar than it should have been as it definitely didn’t uphold the popularity of their previous album, Only By Night even if it still delivered the same amount of quality.

Tennessee rockers Kings Of Leon are currently gearing up to the release of their fifth studio album entitled Come Around Sundown set to drop on October 19th. The lead single of it, Radioactive, was released in early September, but I just got around to actually hear it as the whole album was sent to me as a preview over the weekend.

And for actually having heard the whole thing, I gotta say that Come Around Sundown is not only a great record which is just in time for the colder upcoming days, but also a worthy follow-up to the massively successful Only By Night.

Well it seems like covering Kings of Leon super hit song, Use Somebody, is now a prerequisite when doing a live session over at BBC Radio 1 as Friendly Fires takes exactly where Natasha Khan and Hayley Williams left as they perform the song to a faster tempo than the Bat For Lashes and Paramore frontwomen offered us on last April and September (and the original song from Kings of Leon themselves).

Kings of Leon was passing through on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien where he introduced them as one of the biggest bands in the world, and if you take note of the 6.5 million copies that Only by the Night sold worldwide … I think that he might be just right.

Been awhile since I posted anything Lykke Li related, but people are usually remixing the same track over and over again, which gets really old, really fast.

This is where Death To The Throne comes to play, they bring us another great remix by remixing the Lykke Li rendition of Kings of Leon very own, Knocked Up that she did awhile ago. Which quickly became part of her ‘cover’ routine alongside A Milli & Can I Kick It.
