Now that Travis Barker’s mixtape, Let The Drummer Get Wicked was finally released a couple of weeks back, the focus can now be shifted to his upcoming solo debut album, Give the Drummer Some. In anticipation to the big release, two tracks made their way to the internet, one being a collaboration between Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell on If You Want To while the other, Cool Head, links the Blink 182 drummer to G.O.O.D. Music protégé KiD CuDi.

The album, Give the Drummer Some, drops on March 15th.

Who gives a mothafuck about a lifestyle? Damn, we do! This kind of video is always the most interesting to me – the touring world and what artists do to keep themselves entertained and sane (in Cudi’s case, a constant supply of something to smoke on). This is part of the deluxe edition video that came with Man on the Moon II, which we posted a little while ago in full.

Pitchfork told us in August that T.I. and ‘Ye were working on “six new tracks together” – at least we’ve finally got one of them! This one will be found on T.I.’s upcoming album, No Mercy,  and that’s got to be some Kanye production we’re hearing. Kid Cudi swoops in to sing a few notes and takes off, letting T.I. deliver a really solid verse and Kanye to give us that angry side we haven’t seen since his part on Young Jeezy’s “Put On”. The tags aren’t even that bad on this one – no dj drops! Thank Hova!

To begin the day on a good note, here’s a [almost] 20-minutes promotional video of behind the scenes footage of CuDi taken while he was on the road touring the United States leading up to the release of his sophomore album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager, which can be found in stores since yesterday.

As CuDi’s newest album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, can finally be found on the shelves of basically every music stores, here’s a song that is only available if you buy the album by digital means. Enlisting the help of Dot Da Genius on the production (the man behind CuDi’s massive hit, Day N Nite), KiD CuDi reminds us once again why he made it this far to begin with with this enigmatic and space-ish track.

Alright, I don’t post alot of tv shows performances, but seeing Cage and St. Vincent on stage with CuDi during his performance of Maniac, the last single of his forthcoming album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager, at the Jimmy Fallon Late Night is something that I find utterly cool. Not only because Maniac is one of my favorite song of the album, but Cage on national television? count me in anytime.

Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager will arrive in stores on November 9th.

Mixtapeinvasion.com premiered an unheard version of Kanye’s All of The Lights via their new mixtape, Soundtrack to the Streets. While it does sound like a more complete version of what was heard on Runaway, I’m pretty sure this ain’t the final deal as it only have two distinct features… I’m saying this, because it’s been previously stated that the album version, which will also serve as the third single of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, is apparently going to feature up to eleven artists like Alicia Keys, Charlie Wilson, Elly Jackson (La Roux), Elton John, Fergie, John Legend, KiD CuDi, Rihanna, Ryan Leslie, The-Dream & Tony Williams. So yeah, this is probably not the final version.

I’ve also included the version of All of The Lights that was featured in Kanye’s short film, Runaway, which only had Rihanna on it.

And last, but not least, Mixtapeinvasion.com also premiered another Kanye West joint of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy via their new mixtape. Titled Gorgeous, the song features KiD CuDi & Raekwon and is up until now, said to officially be the final version of the song… at least nothing is making us think otherwise so far.

To be completely honest here, I really thought that CuDi’s sophomore album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, was going to be a major disappointment as I didn’t really like any of the songs that were leaked so far (except his collab with Cage, but then again I’m a die hard fan of Cage, so I don’t know ahah). Well, I got the chance to actually listen to the album from one end to another earlier today and I gotta say that the album is nothing close to a disappointment, I’d say that it’s actually more a surprise than anything else, for me at least, because I’m sure there’s hardcore CuDi’s fans waiting for this album like it was the second coming or something.

Anyway, the album drops on November 9th, so I’ll let you guys hear for yourself, but I’m telling you, if you were like me and didn’t really get on anything that was released so far and was afraid that the album was going to sound more like Erase Me and less like the original CuDi space/laid back vibe, well let me say that the album definitely sound more like a natural progression for CuDi while Erase Me style serves more of a mood breaker than a mood setter. After listening to the album, I personally think that it just might have been poor decision making when it came to which songs to release/leak by CuDi’s camp, because there is some gems in here that can stand on their own unlike some songs like Wild’n Cuz I’m Young that might have sounded a bit off when you listened to it back then by itself, but makes much more sense in a context of an album.

So yeah, here’s two cuts from the album, one being an ode to his favorite kind of green herb titled Marijuana and also in spirit of Halloween, I’ma premiere one of the best song of the album, the album opener, Scott Mescudi Vs. The World featuring Cee-Lo Green. Enjoy.

Okay, so there is no word on the why, where and what of this song, but I have to say that this is the kind of unexpected collaboration I live for. I mean, CuDi and Shia Laboeuf’s favorite rapper on the same track? Never would have dreamt of that… No word on exactly where this will actually end up, but I’m fine with being on my iPod/iTunes rotation for now. On the side, CuDi’s sophomore album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager is set to be released on November 9th.
