Fresh off the release of his Friday Night Lights mixtape, J. Cole is definitely not missing a beat as a new song by him titled Killers recently made it’s way onto the internet. And even though he’s hard working on his debut album, this song is apparently not going to appear on it, in fact, it’s not even a track of his own as it’s being said to be a reference track for someone else that has yet to be named.

North Carolina native, J. Cole, dished out these two little gems via Ustream over the course of the weekend and they are pretttttttty crazy. One being his very own rendition of Beanie Sigel and Kanye’s track Nothing Like It sampling The Dynamic Superiors, while the other samples a track of the legendary B.I.G., Can I Get Wit Ya. J. Cole deserves the hype get with the program people.

Well we all knew that the video for the Drake-assisted single of J. Cole, In The Morning would get released at one point in 2011 following its unveilement on J. Cole latest mixtape, Friday Night Lights in late 2010. Using footage of both backstage and on stage of their Paris stop during their recent European tour I gotta ask… Is Drake really hanging out in a goddamn robe before shows? ahah

What I thought to be a new J. Cole song was revealed to be an old one after all as Leave Me Alone was initially released earlier this year, but was just recently re-released by the NC native who decided that the song was worthy of a little fine-tuning and enlisted vocalist Kevin Cossom for the hook which in turn successfully gave the song a little oompf.

J. Cole, how the fuck are you going to drop a 211 MBmixtape. Consider my hard drive, dude. But uh, thanks nonetheless!
edit : Nevermind, found one that is 174 MB. But still, you’re making me need to clean out my Lil B mixtapes that I don’t listen to (as much as the others). Not cool.

J. Cole upcoming mixtape, Friday Night Lights, is right around the corner and here’s the last two leaks of it that will make their way on the internet before the actual drop of the mixtape later on today. The two songs are the perfect exemple of the wide range of things J. Cole can actually do, on one he goes on a smooth and laid back track featuring Drake who is probably wishing he’d have written it while the other song is an up tempo track making the featuring Wale feel right at home who also probably wishes it was his own track.

J. Cole’s at it again, while a snippet of Before I’m Gone was heard a week ago, he finally unleashed the full version of it which you’ll be able to find on his upcoming mixtape Friday Night Lights, set to drop at the end of the week, Friday. #hype
All he ever doin’ is paintin’ pictures of crime,
Tellin’ stories of pain, paintin’ pictures of dope,
Bitch if you listenin I’m paintin’ pictures of hope

Before you ask, no, J. Cole did not try his hand at doing his own rendition of Prince classic, Purple Rain. When you think about it, he’s probably offended that one would actually think he’d do something like that to begin with, but hey, stranger things happened in our times right?
Anyway, the song was produced and written by Cole himself, but won’t be featured on his upcoming mixtape, Friday Night Lights, which is set to drop this very Friday.

Pusha T: crack rock rap that he’s known for, but he’s capable of a much more memorable verse. Kanye: constant quotables (“Take off that Givenchy, let’s get raunchy”). Cyhi: an obvious flow, metaphors are dumb as usual (“Like Jake Gyllenhaal, I’m in the hood with the bubble“). Big Sean: who mixed this song? His verse is loud as fuck, so we know who was taking the longest with theirs. J. Cole: I see you. Carry on, sir.
I understand that Ye’s trying to keep up a theme here, but if they could show a little restraint and just have it him and J. Cole, we’d have a definite winner here. Instead, it’s going to get two plays before it hits the trash bin for me – I could just be a troll right now though. Sorry ‘Ye! But as usual, thanks for the free music at least.

Alright, so while this song is actually being promoted as the newest release of Diddy’s Dirty Money, which was premiered during the pre-show of Game 4 of this year MLB World Series between the Texas Rangers and the San Francisco Giants, the reference track of it was released past Friday which was initially written by J. Cole. No hate towards Diddy and his crew, but anything with J. Cole will always be better, even if the changes of the version that will be featured on Dirty Money’s Last Train to Paris are minimal, because the version with J. Cole has… J. Cole.
