I’ve always been a fan of everything Daryl Palumbo was involved in… from his early days in Glassjaw to his mainstream days with Head Automatica to his brief stint in his collab project with Thursday singer, Geoffrey Rickly known as United Nations. But I have to say that if I had to pick a favorite, it would easily be Glassjaw, so I don’t think I’ll surprise anyone when I say how excited I was when they announced that they would be reuniting and be working toward releasing new material, especially after seeing them in Montreal last year as they were opening for Brand New.

They’ve been pretty old school in the way they’ve been dropping their new songs though, releasing limited vynils and letting the internet community making the rest of the work. Stars is their 4th release using this method so far and it’s actually a reworked version of a song named Stars Above My Bed that was initially released back in September. No official words on an full album so far, but expect more vynils to drop in the mean time.
