Two weeks after the drop of their official single, Rescue Me featuring Chiddy Bang, British “punk-rock” band, You Me At Six, finally unveiled the official video for it. It’s currently only available for US residents as it’s a Yahoo exclusive, but I’m pretty sure that as the official date gets closer, the video will be released worldwide. The band is also set to support Blink 182 on their upcoming 2011 tour.

Is Big Sean debut album, Finally Famous, still set to be released on November 22nd? I know I should be the one knowing this kind of stuff ahah, I don’t actually remember if the release date was moved since G.O.O.D. Music Day was not happening anymore and while his Wikipedia is stating a November 22nd release, the infos looks outdated… so I don’t know.
Anyway, informations about the album will probably surface on the internet sooner than later as the date is a couple of weeks away, until then, here’s the video of one of the song from his latest mixtape featuring Chiddy Bang and a brand new No I.D. produced song that I highly suspect to be a song from his upcoming album.

Chiddy Bang has a mini album entitled, The Preview, coming out next week and to preview… The Preview, two more songs has been unveiled for us to hear, putting the number of songs we could hear before the actual release of the mini-EP to five. While two of them don’t really count as they were old songs, The Good Life was brand new and was co-produced by Pharrell and the two new songs don’t linger on the star power either as it has Darwin Deez and Q-Tip joining forces with the eclectic Philly duo.

Seems like Philly very own hip-hop duo, Chiddy Bang, has everything on lockdown even if their debut album has been pushed back to early 2011. They recently released the official video for their new Pharrell co-produced single, The Good Life, just a couple of weeks after the initial release of the song. It’s also the first single of their upcoming mini-album entitled The Preview, which serves as an appetizer while we wait for the whole debut to drop.

Alright, so these two Chiddy Bang songs are somewhat of a late pass, but it’s still Chiddy Bang so you know how it is. First stop is a song called The Good Life and is produced by producer extraordinaire Pharrell. It also marks their first collaboration with him and while they swim in different pools, stylewise, the chemistry between the two entities work flawlessly. The song is also the first preview that we have of their upcoming mini-album, The Preview, dropping somewhere in October serving as a little something to get our teeth in while we wait for the release of their full length debut album as it was pushed back somewhere in 2011.
And like they are saying in the opening line of their remix of Cee-Lo Green’s Fuck You, this right here was inevitable as the original version of Cee-Lo’s hit single had all the groundworks to be a Chiddy Bang track, which they take full advantage of as they put some work into it and make it their own for the time being.

I’m not entirely sure why Chiddy Bang keeps releasing videos from their previous mixtape, maybe it’s because there is more songs to choose from or something, I don’t know… but then again, it’s not like I was complaining. I mean new Chiddy Bang, is new Chiddy no matter what. So here’s the visuals for Dream Chasin’, a song that you can find on their first mixtape, The Swelly Express.

Alright, in case you guys didn’t know, well I’ve been in vacations this past two weeks and took that time to actually move to a new apartment and I had very little time to actually get on my computer and blog during these two weeks… Martin did pick up the puck a little bit while I was inactive and I’m very grateful, but for those who are more into power blogging, well I am back on my grind as of today and my first stop being the new visuals for one of their song that isn’t on their latest mixtape Air Swell… The video is more serious than what Chiddy Bang is usually known to release as video… the footage was actually taken when Chiddy was visiting his family in Nigeria, making it probably very special for him.

If Chiddy Bang’s last video, Truth, was for a song from their debut mixtape Swelly, these new visuals are for a track off their most recent mixtape, Air Swell. The video is as well crafted as one can expect out of a Chiddy Bang video… very graphically present. You can also expect an interview with them coming up here fairly soon, just need to come up with the questions ahah.

So this Chiddy Bang track, Truth, is not off their most recent mixtape, Air Swell, but from their debut mixtape Swelly. The track samples one of Passion Pit songs, Better Things, that was off their Chuck of Change EP, which in fact was one of my favorite off of it. Making it fairly easy for me to get into the Chiddy Bang electronic rework of the track, not that it’d require any effort to like anything they do, but yeah, I’m just saying.
I’m not really sure why it’s coming out now as it’s been almost a year since it was released on the internet and a whole new mixtape was released in between, but yeah… new material, is new material right?
Oh, and while this pic might be a little outdated, credits for the picture goes to Dylan Barnes.
