Oh and if you were wondering if Bright Eyes new records would sound more like Conor’s solo effort, well rest assured that they definitely brought the vintage Bright Eyes for The Peoples Key as reported by Spinner.

Monsters of Folk is the indie supergroup counterpart of what Slaughterhouse is right now to hip-hop. Composed of Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes, Jim James of My Morning Jacket and M. Ward who is more known for his solo career, but yeah, that’s the bloke who’s singing with Zooey Deschanel (She & Him). They released their first single Say Please, free to download, on their website on friday. Their self-titled debut album is set to release on September 22.
