The tracklist of Big Boi solo album was released yesterday and to my surprise, this little Dungeon Family reunion produced by the one of the busiest and hottest producers of the moment, Boi-1da, was not part of it. Big Boi released a statement on his twitter explaining the situation that apparently, Jive Records basically blocked Andre from appearing on Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty… So it remains to be seen if an alternate version without Andre might be released as bonus track to the album and what not when it drops on July 6th.

First came the release of Eminem’s lead single of his upcoming album, Recovery, and now he finally unveiled the visuals for it. I don’t know for you, but watching the video gives me a Heroes vibe… The whole part when Eminem is walking alone in the streets and breaking down brick walls were really reminding me of an episode when Peter was stuck in Sylar’s head and if you add the whole flying aspect on top of that… well you really do have an full on episode of Heroes. Maybe Em’s a fan… who knows.

(Yeah, it also really fits the whole Recovery angle, but I prefer my Heroes theory better)

Unforgettable is a brand new song of Drake’s highly anticipated debut album, Thank Me Later. Featuring Young Jeezy on the track and Noah “40″ Shebib on the production side, it also samples the late R&B artist Aaliyah. This is apparently not the finished version once again as it’s been heard that producer extraordinaire Boi-1da is said to rework the drums. Which was apparently heard on a listening session over ustream of all places.

Oh and speaking of final version, here’s the final version of Miss Me in all it’s glory… featuring the right hook, Lil Wayne and CDQ.

Thank Me Later is due June 15th. Mark your calendar.

Miss Me will be the third single that will spawn from his debut album, Thank Me Later. An incomplete version was seen around the internet a couple of weeks ago, but DJ Envy played the real deal which includes Lil Wayne and a complete new hook on the song. A video for the song was also shot and done before Lil Wayne went to prison, so expect it to drop somewhere next week with the release of the CDQ of the song by October’s Very Own.

9am In Dallas is brand new material of the Canadian hip-hop artist, going in on a smooth Boi-1da beat.

Here’s the untagged version of Drake’s track, All Night Long (Miss Me) that will be featured on his debut album, Thank Me Later. An album that possibly has the worst cover art I’ve seen in ages. Produced by no one else than Boi-1da, this version of the song is apparently not going to be the version found on the album as the final version will be featuring Lil Wayne and will be named Miss Me.

Enjoy this version none the less as it’s definitely a keeper, making me really eager to listen to the final version of it.

I’ve talked about it, I’ve hyped it and now it finally arrived. Not Afraid produced by Boi-1da is the highly anticipated first single of Eminem’s upcoming album The Recovery which is set to drop on June 22nd. While it is not as grabbing as the Over x Beamer, Benz or Bentley’s freestyle (Despicable) that he released two days ago, it’s definitely fire! And you just know that Em’s means business as this is no gimmicky-funny oriented song like he’s known to release as first singles. It’s straight up dope.

Mmmm… the name Rebstar seems so familiar, but I can’t recall actually seeing it somewhere… From what I’ve heard, he collaborated with the like of Boi-1da, Trey Songz and Drake, so I better get with the program anyway. Dead or Alive is a smooth track produced by Boi-1da that was released last week and is pretty good… but there was something else attached to the email and it was the video for another song of his entitled Without You featuring Trey Songz, that was released back in late January, which I totally missed, and that song is dope!

While him and Cage shares nothing musically, I have to say that Rebstar’s flow on Without You sounds very familiar to Shia Leboeuf’s favorite rapper, but you know, that might just me. And to be honest, I’ve never been the biggest fan of Trey Songz, but he’s definitely doing his thing on this one.

Sweden’s Rebstar links up with Boi-1da, producer of Drake’s smash hit “Over”, for the 2010 burner “Dead or Alive.” We greatly appreciate all blog, website and DJ love on this record.

Be on the lookout for Rebstar all throughout 2010 as he delivers banger after banger including soon to be released collaborations with Rich Boy, Cookin’ Soul…and yes…Drizzy himself.

Here it is, here-it-is! here’s the lead single of Drake upcoming debut album, Thank Me Later and this is BIG. The beat was handled by Boi-1da and fits perfectly with Drake’s flow, I mean, I knew Drake would come out swinging with his debut album, but this is way more than ‘not disappointing’. The release date of the album is still a bit foggy, but it’s due somewhere in May and this definitely adds to the hype damn!
