ok so, i got around to watch Quantum of Solace, the new James Bond flick, and after an amazing Casino Royale helmed by Martin Campbell, I was a bit disappointed. While the action remains the same, the flow that the director Marc Foster brings to the screen seems broken compared to what Martin Campbell had accomplished with Casino Royale. Daniel Craig is still the best James Bond since Sean Connery and the action is still breathtaking, the story (being a direct sequel of Casino Royale) ties up some loose ends but the plot is a bit all over the place and the editing … god the editing, the quick cuts and the fast camera action, it screams MTV.

All in all, while Casino Royale was the perfect reboot of the serie, this sophomore effort is a bit of a let down.

ps. And while we’re on the subject of movies, I also saw Sex Drive not so long ago, and that movie sucks, not even Clark Duke could bring this movie to greatness or to what it could have been.

Went to see the Warhol’s exposition at the Fine Arts Museum of Montreal yesterday, and while I’m not really sure why the guy got so popular (yeah, he was the one who started the whole Pop Art movement), I’ve realized that the colors he was using really painted what the 80s were all about.
