While Robyn song, Indestructible, was released a little while ago and made a decent impact, I know that some folks were a bit disappointed with the song overall saying that while the song was decent, it was missing some sort of spark. Well the A-Trak remix that was premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show on Friday night might have been exactly what they’ve been expecting as reports are saying that people went batshit over it.

Robyn’s latest mini-album, Body Talk Pt. 3 was released on Monday and is currently available via iTunes and in stores (?).

Also, starting (this week dates don’t count) early next year, you will be able to find Robyn on the road as she will be embarking on a North American and European tour.

Alright, so in case you missed this, Montreal native DJ golden boy, A-Trak, was in town last sunday and he completely killed it. One complaint is that they should have put more than one bartender per bar as the venue was PACKED. With that said, A-Trak is currently gearing up towards the release of his record label compilation release, Fool’s Gold Vol. 1, which is set to be released on October 25th only by digital means (actually, Opening Ceremony should be selling a limited edition CD version of the compilation).

And to give us a little peek of what’s to come, he released one of the song that will be featured on it entitled Ray Ban Vision where he links up with G.O.O.D. Music member, CyHi Da Prince.

Yeahyeahyeah, I know, seems like I am on my hip-hop game today, but here’s a curveball for y’all, here’s the new video of DJ superduo composed of Montreal very own A-Trak & Massachusetts native Armand Van Helden, also known as Duck Sauce.

You might remember this little collaboration from the single they released last Fall, entitled aNYway. Well they are back this Fall with a brand new song entitled Barbra Streisand which they just about unveiled the official video directed by So-Me and featuring loads and loads of celeb cameos including Kanye West, Pharrell, Ezra Koenig, Chromeo and many more.

Even if he’s been pretty busy working with Travis Barker replacing the late Adam Goldstein [DJ AM] (R.I.P.) in the TRVSDJAM proejct, Montreal very own superstar DJ, A-Trak, finally released his latest project, Dirty South Dance 2. To be honest, I did not listen to it’s entirety, but yeah, it’s A-Trak, that bloke cannot go wrong.

Alright, so a loonie is a Canadian one dollar coin and changing the title of the track from Money To Blow to Loonies To Blow is quite not only somewhat funny, but fitting since A-Trak is born and bred from Montreal and Drake from Toronto… Birdman’s is not Canadian, but then again Birdman is nowhere near relevant.
