As much as people might find Funk Flex a little bit irrelevant in this day and age of technology, he definitely came through yesterday with the release of what is supposed to be the lead single of J. Cole’s upcoming album that has yet to be named. Produced by Elite and J. Cole himself, this track has been on everybody’s lips ever since he performed it at S.O.B.’s a few months ago, so it’s good to finally hear it even if it’s, apparently, not the final version as the final mix should be dropping today, but I’ll say that it’s all sorts of dope.
