Even if it was on heavy rotation on my iTunes last week, I totally skipped on posting it in here… so what better way to start the week with not only one, but two J. Cole’s releases as a video was added to the We On track that was supposedly going to be featured on Khaled latest effort Victory, but didn’t make the final cut, possibly for being a bit different from the rest of the album. When you think about it, it’s a good thing it didn’t because Victory… failed hard and you know, for an up and comer artist, it’s good to try and avoid getting some major L. On the other hand, the I Get Up video, is a track that was on his last mixtape The Warm Up, while doesn’t look very official to my end, it was still approved and released… maybe it’s the player that downgrades the quality of the footage or something, but yeah, it looks a bit amateur.
