With Robyn’s forthcoming album, Body Talk Pt. 1, marking her return after five years of studio inactivity, things are looking better and better by the minute. It’s been awhile since we’ve heard of the name of Jay Electronica, but that doesn’t mean the bloke was not working. Here he is making his return on the scene with the release of The Ghost of Christopher Wallace featuring Diddy, the artist formely known as Puff Daddy, P. Diddy and Sean Comb. No clue on where this track will appear on or actually belongs, but no matter where it will, that project will be nothing short of dope.

Wait, there was a video for Tighten Up already? Arg, I completely missed it, but you can catch it on Youtube I guess. Anyway, both of the videos features a protagonist in the shape of a little black dinosaur named Frank that not only sings the song, or at least lip-sync it, but is also showing alot of swag and game. It also features funny commentaries at the bottom of the video adding a little something something to the video itself which was directed by Chris Marrs Piliero.

Brothers , their next album, is dropping on May 18th via Nonesuch Records, but has already been leaked and I have to tell you, it’s fire from beginning to end.

Almost five months after the release of Drop The Other, Emika is finally back with a brand new single.

Double Edge taps into her sensuality and mix it with a hint of paranoia all wrapped up with a dark dubstep beat. The same feeling is transgress in her recent video for it as it gives an David Lynch/uncomfortable feeling to watch.

There is still no announcement on Emika’s debut album, but this single will be found on 12-inch vinyl and digitally via Ninja Tune next month, on May 10th.

Is ignorance bliss? That’s the question Emika asks on the second single from her forthcoming and eagerly awaited debut album.

Once again mixing pop with dark tones taken from dubstep and techno, the sonics reflect paranoid perspectives of relationships poised between fulfilment and collapse. Atmospherics were captured in Teufelsberg, West Berlin on a cold winter’s day. “I focused on capturing sound, phenomena that exist independently of people and personality,” Emika explains. “But once back in the studio they become the language I use to tell stories.”

“Double Edge” revels in double-think and mirror logic. Do you want to know, or is it better not to? Do you understand yourself as yourself or as the self other people perceive ? “Tell me, which side do you pick?”

Double Edge is remixed by Pinch, producer and head of hugely respected Bristol label Tectonic, turning up the atmospherics another notch, ripping Emika’s vocals to pieces until they sound like the paranoid mutterings in a David Lynch movie.

After two years, since the first release of Dead Space, Electronic Arts is finally bringing a sequal and I can tell you, I’m super stoked! The first one was amazing and the second one should be even better since it’s one of the most anticipated video games of 2011. Warning: playing this game in the dark with good loud speakers won’t make you go to sleep that easily.

We usually hear about Alice Glass and Ethan Kath of Crystal Castles for all the wrong reasons, but this one is definitely a good one. Celestica is the lead single of their forthcoming self-titled 2.0 album and it’s actually pretty good on it’s own, much like the first leak, Doe Deer, Setting up the table for a promising sophomore album.

New York indie band Interpol released a brand new song entitled Lights via their website this afternoon and it’s fairly decent… To be honest, I’m not what you could call the biggest fan of Interpol… even if I liked Julian Plenti’s solo project [alot], but I gotta give credits where it’s due as it’s no small feat for a band to succeed at staying relevant throughout their career and well, Interpol has been managing that for over 10 years… all that while staying true to themselves.

I’ve talked about it, I’ve hyped it and now it finally arrived. Not Afraid produced by Boi-1da is the highly anticipated first single of Eminem’s upcoming album The Recovery which is set to drop on June 22nd. While it is not as grabbing as the Over x Beamer, Benz or Bentley’s freestyle (Despicable) that he released two days ago, it’s definitely fire! And you just know that Em’s means business as this is no gimmicky-funny oriented song like he’s known to release as first singles. It’s straight up dope.

No, this is not a Chromeo cover. Now that it’s out of the way, here comes the first listen of Bloc Party’s frontman Kele Okereke debut solo album, The Boxer. Tenderoni is produced by Spank Rock’s XXXChange and is definitely, much like promised, nothing like anything Kele’s done before. While the vocals are definitely distinct to what Kele’s accustomed us with Bloc Party, the general feel of the song is much more electro oriented possibly due to the collaboration with XXXChange.

The Boxer is set to drop on June 21st.
