THE SOUNDS have released their new single and video “BEATBOX” from their album Crossing The Rubicon, out now.
Check out the video below and watch Maja and the boys being chased through a dark jungle, trying to escape pounding rhythms, and battling back with some beats of their own.

During the summer, rumours of a 30 Seconds To Mars & Kanye West collaboration surfaced on the internet saying that it would appear on Jared Leto band new album This Is War. While the collaboration might come off as odd in the first place, I have to say that the result is far from bad, (as long as you’re into that kind of music). Kanye West goes on his autotune business and Leto does his usual singer part that he’s been known to do for awhile now as 30 Seconds To Mars became extremely popular with the release of their last album.
Following the collaboration, Jared only had kind words about Kanye as he said:
“This is Kanye singing. I happen to think he has a really great voice. I like his voice a lot. My favorite is when he sings, as opposed to rapping, and I told him that as well, that I really liked him as a singer. But the Auto-Tune thing doesn’t really bug me.”

Alright, so it’s Friday, the big bad Black Friday in the United States to be more precise, it’s also the last day of the week, so I decided to lay it low a little bit and put some fun in your day with this video of The Muppets singing, Bohemian Rhapsody, the song made famous by Freddy Mercury (R.I.P.) band, Queen.
And whenever I hear this song, the only thing I can think of is Wayne’s World lol, which comes a long way from Myers latest suckastic movie, Guru.

Here’s an unreleased joint of Common entitled, Strange Fruit, featuring John Legend. This was recorded for Finding Forever, but never made the cut even if Kanye’s production on this is really on point.
Looking back, I have to say that Finding Forever was really an amazing album if you compare it with Common’s latest Universal Mind Control, not that I didn’t like it or anything, but the cold metallic electronic Pharrell produced beats has nothing on Kanye/No I.D. ones in terms of fitting the artist.

Alright, so here’s the tagless version of Kanye’s track I’m So Appalled. This won’t appear on anything Kanye West will release, but will be on Diddy’s upcoming album Last Train(Wreck) To Paris that will be released in 2010, so I guess this will Ye’s verse of an unfinished song with Diddy.

Lupe Fiasco released a spanking new mixtape entitled, Enemy of The State: A Love Story. It features a ‘cassette style’ as the content of the tape is basically 11 songs mashed up together in a twenty-two minutes single track. It might be short, but it’s a twenty-two minutes well spent. You’ll also find a split up version of the mixtape as well as it might be more useful if you want to hear a particular track. Lupe is also set to drop another mixtape entitled Friend of The People, just in time for Christmas.
01 Intro 02 The National Anthem (Radiohead) 03 All The Way Turnt Up (Travis Porter) 04 Fireman (Lil Wayne) 05 Interlude 06 Angels (rmx) (Dirty Money) 07 So Ghetto (Jay-Z) 08 Say Something (Timabaland) 09 Thank You (Jay-Z) 10 The One (Slaughterhouse) 11 Popular Demand (Clipse)

Ahhh, there’s been alot of talk about the Alicia Keys reworked version of Jay-Z track Empire State of Mind. I personally prefer the original version as this one sounds a little bit too empty, but the vibe is still going strong as the piano work is definitely able to take the listener somewhere else.

Here’s the acoustic version of Wale’s song, Diary featuring Marsha Ambrosius. The original version of the song is off his recently released debut album, Attention Deficit. A release that was not without problem, as there was major problems with shipping orders througout the United States, finding stores like Target with either one copy or none at all.
