Off Rick Ross upcoming album Deeper Than Rap comes his collab with Nas. And yeah, you can say anything you like about Officier Ricky, but this track is just amazing and from what I’ve heard so far, we can expect nothing less from the whole album.

Los Angeles based DJ duo Villains seems to be on a roll lately, releasing great remixes N.A.S.A., Britney Spears & Bloc Party. Lykke Li is their latest target as they remix her most known track out there Little Bit and comes through as one of the best remix to date.

I discovered Frankmusik a couple of months ago from remixes spreading around the internet. And while I’m still not sold about the K in musiK, I have to say that his music is contagiously contagious. I really liked Better Off As Two, which he released a video a month ago, but I stumbled upon the first song that he released and it’s even more catchier, which I didn’t think was possible.

I’m a bit late on the Frankmusik hypetrain, but better late than never right?

The official first draft of the line up of this year, Montreal own music festival, Osheaga has been revealed earlier today, and I’m happy to say that it’s much better than last year, but while better, it’s still nowhere the standard of what the likes of Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza etc.. has set with better line up year after year.

At least we can say that we really have a headlining band this year. Unlike last year where The Killers and Jack Johnson were closing their respective day. This year we have Coldplay on Saturday and the Beastie Boys on Sunday. While I believe in Coldplay hype to bring people to the festival, I’m still not sold on the Beastie Boys though.

But yeah, I’ll still be happy to have a ‘major’ music festival in my hometown, no matter what.

I’ve always been 50/50 with Bright Eyes, some I like, some I don’t … Four Winds was somewhat in the middle, but The Killers revamps it pretty good with their cover of the song.
